Here are some the pieces that are up in the EB coffee shop right now. Most of them are diptychs. The bigger ones are the same color palate but do not go together. They will all be in the shop until my closing party on July 31st.

URBAN NIGHTMARE

As promised here are a couple of the new jamms I've finished and put in a show during Urban Nights. There were 20-some artists in this juried show and the public voted on best realistic and best abstract.
The first is a multipanel piece that I'm super stoked I actually got to hang in a corner. I was honored & very surprised to win first place (best abstract) for this piece. It is currently for sale...

The second is a commission piece done for Diane (at century bar) done on two wood panel doors.

so i have been super busy and drinking WAY too much. and i realized after a stern convo with the lady that i need to use this blog for showcasing my artwork and others that i am into. so i revamped a little, deleted some dumb shit, and will be posting photos of my new stuff this week! until then here is some old jamms from gainesville, fl. speaking of gville, my homeboy Kyle is opening a gallery there in the next couple of months, so be ready for and old school Ohio-Flordia art party!

this is the KidRobot Blank Munny that i did for the C2 Gallery 'Revenge of the Toys' show a couple of months ago. once i finally stopped procrastinating and got to wrapping this little beast i got the 24hr. flu and was hallucinating the whole time i was at it. the only word to describe the experiance is "TEDIOUS!" but, i would like to do some more in a similar way (different colors, different twine, different objects in their hand)... but i would need a 'greenback influence' to actually get motivated. if anyone wants one, get at me. we would be talking $72.00 - $193.00 to get started!

i have been lucky enough to get thursday and friday off from the coffee shop on a fairly regular basis. i use those days to get work done in my studio. it pretty much is the best damn thing ever. i have also been recently inspired by Glenn Weatherson's Vimeo videos. homeboy is on house arrest (which i can completely relate to) and is video documenting his sixty days of non-freedom, super entertaining. check it out "Sixty Days" on Vimeo. so, i decided to photo document my day as a tribute...

so about a year ago this showed up in an ally that is basically the corridor to and from the best bar in dayton (the Century Bar). not only is it sweet, but, in the past year a couple of people tagged the top of the drips with black marker, and under it in white spraypaint. one night not so long ago me and the lady rode thru and saw that the owners buffed the tags and not the drips...!!!!??? um, AWESOME. its nice to know that some art on the street is admired enough to be encouraged...
